Düben Heath Nature Park
Silent landscape, largely untouched nature and lonely paths - these give the Dübener Heide Nature Park, the largest contiguous forest area in the Central European Plain, its unmistakable character.
No matter which direction you come from, no matter which rest area or parking lot you are heading for. The Düben Heath and its most beautiful places can be easily explored on foot or by bike. You will pass small forest lakes, romantic clearings and tranquil places. With a bit of luck you might catch a glimpse of the heraldic animal, the beaver.

bike
An extensive network of paths enables tours in all directions and for a wide range of requirements. The national cycle paths Mulderadweg, Berlin-Leipzig cycle path and Torgischer Weg intersect here. Also ideal for smaller tours: explore the city by bike or experience the Muldeaue or the silence of the forests of the Dübener Heide in a pleasant ride. Experience very different tours, peppered with surprises along the way. Bicycles and e-bikes can be rented directly at the hotel.

The five terrain cure paths are ideal for smaller tours. They offer insights into historical institutions and lead to attractive scenic sections. In addition, various routes through the Düben Heath offer a lot of variety. A special tip is the quality hiking trail “Heide-Biber-Tour”, which connects the two spa towns of Bad Düben and Bad Schmiedeberg. Bad Düben is also located on the Luther Trail, which impresses with its history.
Goitzsche lake landscape
Coal mining shaped the area of the Goitzsche Landscape Park near Bitterfeld for almost 100 years. In 1999, flooding of the remaining opencast mine holes began.
After just a few years, the resulting bodies of water have become a habitat for a large number of animal and plant species.
In addition, they now offer a variety of options for water sports enthusiasts with a wake park and rental of equipment such as boats, SUP boards, etc.
There is also the modern passenger ship "MS Vineta" and the historic "MS Reudnitz", which are highlights in the Central German lake landscape.
Golf
From the first practice shot to the birdie, from the championship to the social event, the golf course in the “Dübener Heide Nature Park” offers everything that makes golf so attractive.
In addition to the championship course with its 18 challenges and a 6-hole short course, there is a driving range with target greens and practice tees, a chipping and pitting facility and a putting green available for beginners.
Hotel guests receive a 20% green fee discount.
SupaGolf in our historic park
SupaGolf is the highlight in Bad Düben. The facility is the second in Germany and offers nine lanes with lengths between 10 and 110 meters. SupaGolf is possible for everyone without any prior knowledge, even for children aged 5 and over.
SupaGolf clubs can be played from Easter to the end of October.

Its wide variety of water sports offerings as well as numerous small beach areas on the north bank surrounded by reed grass attract water sports fans, families and people looking for peace and quiet to the popular swimming and leisure lake just outside Leipzig.
The tour from Eilenburg-Gruna-Bad Düben takes paddlers almost 14 kilometers through the “United Mulde” protected landscape area and therefore offers a high level of recreational value and great insights into nature: a variety of rare birds, steep banks and wide meadow areas. Further towards Bad Düben, the hollow has varying currents, surges and large gravel ponds. The steep red embankment signals the final sprint to the finish in Bad Düben.
For nature conservation reasons, sailing on this section of the river is only possible from July 15th to October 31st!
The club with over 25 years of history offers all tennis enthusiasts the opportunity to play tennis on three tennis courts and a half court with a tennis wall. A club room as well as changing and sanitary rooms are available.
